Well hello April, where did you come from?

April 2013 is here.  I have a 4 year old.  I have a watermelon belly.  I have tired eyes, but LOVE my job at St. Peter's in first grade.  Here are a few snaps of our life lately.  It is FAST.  It is BUSY. We can't wait to simplify a little bit, but it is slowing down.  We are nesting.  Preparing for a new baby.  Preparing for a move at some point.  Preparing to list our house, which means preparing to FINISH projects.  Whew.  I get tired thinking about all of the things that we have been able to do this year with just the house.... So thankful for all life events at this point.  This year has not been easy.

One of our favorite things though?  Kids family bible study on Sunday nights.  My kid KNOWS his scripture and is learning weekly to hide it in his heart.  This has been SUCH richness for Tim and I to experience with Luke.  He is the youngest.  He has to be busy as he can't sit still, but he is sharp as a tack and can answer any question.  (Tim has the crazy ability to do this.....I however can't all!)  Learning the word with your kid is the greatest thing and brings such joy.

This is our sweet friend and neighbor Emerson.  Luke LOVES her.
Hi mom.  Did you know I am four?
 I LOVE chaco feet.
Sweet daddy lego time in the attic and on the soft carpet.
 A happy fireman.

So, I am packed.  I have been packed for weeks.  When your husband works 24 hour shifts, and tells you if your water breaks that he will meet you at the hospital in the fire truck, you have to be prepared.  Thankfully the hospital is only 5 minutes away.

A little craft time with sweet girls at school.....they bought us at the Auction=)
 I mean......BIG.
 My sweet first grade mommas!
The WHOLE first grade.  I love them.
My Luke B.  New uniform sweatshirt for next year.  This little guy is big now.  Going to have to wear a full uniform next year, and when in dress uniform, even a Tie.  Seriously.  Going to look adorable.
Our steps next to our house.  We LOVE decorating every one of them.

Time with Sweet Grandmama last night who came for a visit this week.  So precious.

More to come.  Maybe I will have another kid by the next one!
